Learning Pods is a community platform for families, educators, and founders building or finding alternative education — learning pods, microschools, homeschool support programs, tutoring, and enrichment. You can browse for free, and most tools are free to start.
Use the Pod Map (in your sidebar under Network, or at /pod-map/) — it shows programs plotted near you, with filters for age, schedule, format, and budget.
Pick whichever describes most of what you're doing right now: Parent if you're looking for a program for your child, Facilitator/Educator if you teach or tutor, Founder if you run or want to start a program, Vendor if you offer products or services to programs. You can hold more than one role on the same account.
Yes. If your account has more than one role, a role switcher appears in your top navigation ("Switch role as...") — it changes your dashboard and profile fields without creating a second account.
Go to Profile from your account menu (top-right avatar). You can update your photo, bio, and role-specific details there.
Profile → Privacy tab has toggles for directory visibility, connection requests, online status, and notification preferences.
Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page — we'll email you a reset link.
A free profile lets you create a listing and appear on the map. Network Membership adds enhanced visibility, weekly office hours, and member resources for a monthly fee — see /network-membership/ for the full comparison.
LearningPods OS is the bigger step up — it includes everything Network Membership does, plus the full backend system for inquiries, enrollment, payment tracking, parent communication, and documents. See /learningpods-os/.
Access usually updates automatically within a few minutes of payment. If it's been longer than that, contact us from the button below with the email you used to pay and we'll sort it out right away.
No — founding and pre-sale prices are early-access pricing and increase later (each product page shows the exact date). Locking in now keeps that lower price for as long as you stay subscribed.
Open their profile or find them in Members, and use the Message button — or go to Messages in your top navigation to see all your conversations.
Go to /regional-groups/create.php (or "Build Your Own Program" in the Resource Library) — a short wizard walks you through details, photos, and location. Your program then appears on the Pod Map and is written to help it get found in search.
Community (in your sidebar under Network) opens straight into the feed — post, ask a question, or filter by topic chips relevant to your role.
Use the Contact button below, or go to /contact/ any time — a real person reads every message.
The Resource Library (/resources/) has free guides, checklists, and worksheets for every role, plus paid courses and programs when you're ready to go deeper.
